E. Holland shook all of our hands!!! He interviewed us all through our eyes!!

Hello hello!

Wow this week was BEAUTIFUL. I got to see Elder Birrelll!!!!!! Here's a pic. Elder Birrell's on the right, and Elder Redd (my new comp) is on the left
I got my new companion, his name is Elder Redd, from West Valley Utah. He's so awesome! He has such a powerful and strong desire to serve the Lord!

Last week Elder Holland came and spoke to our mission. It was so cool. The Spirit was so powerful. wow it was amazing. He shook all of our hands!! gahh!!!!! so cool.

This is my second time training a new missionary. And wow it's really different. But wonderful too. The Lord has totally prepared Berwick JUST FOR HIM!!! The people here have changed so much around Elder Redd. He's totally ready for Berwick. Later last week we had an AMMMAZING lesson with our new investigator named Brandyn. He's so prepared for the Gospel it's crazy! We taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it was so powerful. He loves studying the scriptures and is so hungry for the Gospel.

Later he told us that he wants to be baptized, and now his goal that he set is to be baptized as a proxy for his brother who had passed away when he was only 9 years old. It's amazing brothers and Sisters! Believe it or not. The Lord is truly preparing all of His Children to partake of this Restored Gospel.  I really know that this Gospel is true. and that People are ready.
I know this Gospel is true. I love it so much. I love this Church. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Elder Johnson.

We did the "Mormon Helping Hands" project out in Mansfield. 2 hour drive!!!

Hello Hello family and friends! (please excuse the typing errors, i'm typing fast!)
Wow was this week amazing!!!!
Thanks again for all of the wonderful birthday wishes!!! I had a wonderful birthday. Last Saturday we went and did the "Mormon Helping Hands" project out in Mansfield. Which was a 2 hour drive. But hey! I had so much fun doing service. We helped out at a recreational park and did some gardening and painting there. Twas neat. And my birthday was great! I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's Day! I got to Skype my family!!! yayyy!!

Anywho. This week has been filled with many mighty miracles. Beautiful things have been going on here in the Berwick area. Last week we received a Zone Training meeting about planning better, and listening to the Spirit. and both of those have tremendously blessed us. Last week we went to see a family named the Hummels. A wonderful family who have been making wonderful progression in being suuuper active in the Church. We felt impressed by the Spirit to teach them about Christ like Attributes, and it's exactly what they needed! They were having some problems in the home, but Truly, Christ like love and qualities will always excel happiness, joy, and we will find ourselves literally becoming more like The Master.

Last friday we went and tried to contact a referral, but the last time we went to see him (Brandon) his dad answered the door and was mad that we were there. Totally not interested at all. We went again, feeling a little leery, but still did so. We knocked on the door, and Brandon answered. We talked a little bit, I felt prompted to ask him if we could watch a Mormon Message with him. He agreed to let us in. We began teaching and then watched a Mormon Message about Elder Christofferson's talk about a Gardener and a bush. The Gardener in the video cuts down a bush. and the bush is angry at the Gardener, angry that he stops his growth and progression. The Gardener explains that He is the one in charge, and He knows who He wants the bush to become. cutting it down would help it grow better, healthier, and stronger. Brandon really loved this message, and immediately we could feel his receptiveness to the Gospel. We taught him about Prophets, The Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and about the Book of Mormon. We invited him to pray and ask if it's true. He said he was already going to before we asked. He agreed to be baptized. hopefully everything goes well with him! Keep him in your prayers!

Last Sunday the Missionaries gave talks about missionary work and mothers. I read one of my Mom's letter's, explaining her conversion story. It was very powerful, and the Spirit was so strong. Later Sister Hummel came out and greeted us in tears, thanking us for knowing exactly what to say.

I know Heavenly Father is completely and utterly aware of us. I know He knows. I bear my Witness of the Living Christ, and the Truthfulness of and Divine Nature of the Book of Mormon. I know the Plates are real.
I love you all, very much. I pray for you often, and wish we all remember the essential and fundamental foundation of Daily Scripture Study. I love you very much. The Lord loves you very much. I know He looks out for us, and I hope the Spirit will convey to you how powerfully i know this to be true.  In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

My invitation to all, not only study PMG but to get involved, live the Gospel!

Hello there!!

Wow this week was fantastic!!! Elder Andersen and I have seen miracles happening here in Berwick!
Some of our investigators have been dropping like flies, but the Lord immediately blessed with people who are more ready to receive the Gospel!
Lately I've been learning the importance of USING Preach My Gospel, and living what it teaches. Preach My Gospel is a missionary "guidebook", but that does not mean that only missionaries can use it. Quite the contrary! Preach My Gospel (PMG) is for EVERYONE. Since everyone's a missionary right??

Preach My Gospel not only instructs us of what to do, and how to teach, but it is also focused on Preaching with the SPIRIT. The Holy Ghost is EVERYTHING when it comes to, not only missionary work, but all callings established by the Lord. We must get the Spirit. Preach My Gospel easily shows us HOW.

Pleeease us it, I beg of you! It's too wonderful to not read it! We had a beautiful experience with a less active man we visited last week. I'll call him Jim.
Jim is a less active since he was 9, and has struggled remaining active. He's come every now and then, and hasn't quite been able to kick smoking. We saw him, and talked about missionary work and it's importance. He wanted to help us teach. So we gave him a Preach My Gospel and told him to study under prayer so he'd be ready for the lesson the next day.
We went to see the Fletchers, and while there Jim bore a beautiful and powerful testimony of prayer. He brought the Spirit more than we could even begin to understand. Usually the house goes crazy when we come, but with Jim the Lord truly blessed us. The conditions were right. and The Holy Ghost was at work. My invitation to all of you, not only Study PMG. but to get involved. Get involved in your callings, and especially with how you live the Gospel.

I testify that the Lord Jesus Christ does live. I know this Gospel is true. and I will never ever deny the reality of the Lord's divine nature, and perfect knowledge of our wellbeing. He lives.
He loves us. I know God is our Loving Heavenly Father. He will never forsake us or our families. He has called Prophets all days to lead us and guide us. Christ is the Pinnacle of all guidance and love. His atonement is real. Even when we make mistakes and reject His Gospel. He still loves us. I know the Gospel HAS been Restored through the Prophet
Joseph Smith. I know the Book of Mormon is true, and will always be so. Because I prayed about it. and I've felt more peace than anywhere else. The Spirit has revealed it.
I love you all. SO very very much!
