"Yes. Not Yet.and No I'm preparing something better for you "

"Greetings friends and family!
How yinz all doing?!?!?!? (here's some pictures! one of our investigators had some
really cool weapons! and it snowed yesterday when it's supposed to be SPRING!!)

I'm doing fantastic here in the Berwick Area, man I love it here. It's been a blast.
A spiritual blast that is!!! Elder Andersen are super unified now it's awesome. We
taught a lesson the other day that was killer, and after we both said "That was a really good lesson"
In complete unison. Yeah! Go Comp unity!

Anywho. Nothing terribly memorable this week, But the Lord has truly answered all of my prayers.
It sounds cliche to say, but He truly does hear and ANSWER every single one of our Prayers.
Most often these answers come as. "Yes. Not yet. and No, I'm preparing something better for you"
He really HEARS us! He does, He is truly listening with every purpose of His heart.

Heavenly Father's only divine purpose is to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man". He just wants us back! And he's truly moving mountains to help us all out. Which is why we must truly serve with all of our hearts in this work. Lately I've been truly realizing how much this work isn't about what I want. The second I changes my attitude, miracles have been happening
The other day, we were teaching a man in a hospital, as we were teaching, a woman in a wheel chair wheeled over and asked if she could join. Later after the lesson, she confessed that she was just passing bny the room, but something told her to come inside. And to listen.

We Testified that it was God's hand who had done so and we gave her a Book of Mormon, it was truly a tender mercy.
I love you all. As humbly as I can muster, I testify from my heart, that God lives. Jesus Christ is His only Begotten Son. He Hears us.
He Loves. Us. So. Dearly. I know it, I truly know it.
Thank you for your love. Thank you for you prayers. I will be praying for you all :)

Having an Eternal Family!

"Hello friends and family!!!!!!!! (Here's some pictures! The man on the right is the one who got baptized)

Thanks for your love and support!!! Holy COW this week was increeeedible. This week was the Baptism of John. It was sooo so neat seeing him get baptized! He quit smoking and drinking coffee in the same week. It was soo cool! He's so dedicated to this gospel it's ridiculous! At his baptism, his less active sister came. And John stood up and bore his testimony, and he said that he wants his sister to come back to the church so that he can see his mom and dad again. It was so powerful! It really hit me how much I have underappreciated having an ETERNAL FAMILY.

It took seeing it through some else's eyes to really understand how wonderful of a privilege it is to live with our mortal companions for all eternity. Pretty neat right?!?! John is doing so well. I truly love working here in the Berwick ward! It's so great here! The members are wonderful as well.

Elder Andersen and I are working hard! Later in the week we also had our Zone Conference, it was like a spiritual powerhouse! I realized how important it is that we STAY exactly obedient! When we do so we can EXPECT miracles!!!! I know that's true! Exact obedience is what truly helps us realized how much the Lord's hand is in our lives! Then we also got to go to the General Stake Priesthood Meeting, where we listened to speakers talk about the Priesthood and magnifying our callings. It was so neat.

We watched a video about a little boy who was struck by lightning, and another 18 year old was there, and had the Melchizedek Priesthood, who then gave him a blessing. If you haven't seen it I encourage you to, It's called "Sanctify Yourselves" Any who as I watched it the Spirit hit me so strong. I realized that we are all commissioned to leave the 99 and find the 1 whom is lost.

There are Children of God who are out there, who need our own personal testimonies. It gave me so much hope for this work! Heavenly Father is always by our sides,   Especially when we don't see Him right in front of us. I love you all, thank you for always helping me grow and LIVE the Gospel. Thank you for anchoring yourselves to Christ.  With love,   Elder Johnson"

" Gentleman,I Just want you to know that i feel the spirit here more than i've ever felt it with those other churches.

"Hello my friends and Family!
It's so good to hear from all yinz! today's my 8 month mark!!!! Holy cow!!
Last week was FANTASTIC!! we had two baptisms and it was pretty great. Elder Andersen had got to baptize one of them and he had to do 4 times. hehe.
We also had an awesome confirmation yesterday too! That was great. We're working with another man named John to be baptized this friday as well. Hopefully everything works out!!!! He's been making sooo many great changes in his life! We had a stellar lesson with them about temples. But before I get into that i'll give a little background.
John is in his 60's or so and hasn't really had an interest in the church, but as of the past few months he's been investigating and finally decided to be baptized! He's still working on some stuff, but has made reaaaalllly amazing changes. Last week he went with the youth to the temple trip, and entered and toured the visitor center and LOVED it.

Anywho, we were going to a lesson with a member, to see John's less active sister named Cindy. We weren't really sure how it'd go since we've never seen her. And she was SO nice, she let us right on in and let us teach her. She said she's been investigating other churches and learning from them. We had a messy lesson, but invited her to come over to John's house for the lesson we had scheduled. She actually ended up coming, and we talked about Temples. John really enjoyed the lesson, and wants to go back to the temple. Cindy was beaming, her whole countenance changed. She had memories stirred within her of being inside the temple. She paused the whole lesson and said "Gentleman, I just want you to know that I feel the Spirit here more than i've ever felt it with those other churches. It was AWESOMEEE!!!

Anywho, I love you all! Thanks for all you do! Stay warm! Stay safe! I know Jesus Christ LIVES.  Elder Andrew Johnson :)

First transfer in 7 months

"Helllooooo Family and Friends!

I bet you're all wondering where i've been transferred to!!!
I am now serving in the Berwick Ward in eastern PA, and my companion is Elder Andsersen from Texas, He's been out for 10 months. We get along great! We joke around and goof off a lot. But we stay super focused on the work too. An awesome combination! The Berwick ward is great! Loads of awesome people, they're so humble here I love it!

This week has been pretty crazy, I'm so hungry, and so tired ALLL the time, BUT I push forward! And the Lord has been blessing us so much for being diligent! The work here is INSANE we have 20 investigators, and 3 are getting baptized pretty soon! I love it here in Berwick! It's great! This week, I have learned the importance of a testimony of the Book of Mormon, and also, the importance of retaining HOPE. Hope is the bouyant influence that invites impossibly contageous light to enter our Minds and our Hearts. My invitation to you is to strive to always Hope for a better future. To have a "Perfect Brightness of Hope" and seek the scriptures diligently. I love you all! Thank you for your prayers, I will be praying for you as well! I know Jesus Christ Lives, I know He is the Son of God.
With Love
Elder Johnson
